I use three different profiles in SeaMonkey.  I use Thunderbird for my
newsgroup application because, when I switch profiles (which I do
frequently), I don't want to lose my current newsgroup session.

On occasion, I might filter and ignore all newsgroup messages
posted through GoogleGroups via Google's G2/1.0 user agent
because of spam from that source.
