Is there some kind of a mailing list associated with the newsgroup?
Even so shouldn't the mail bounce message have been sent to the list
administrator, rather than to me?

Thank you for your Complain to: pointer.
I have just received a second mail bounce message from the same source,
so I think there's a problem somewhere.
As to, "Your question was posted below your sig..." that is/was an
artifact of me quoting the whole message that I had posted to the
newsgroup , without removing the signature which was a part of the
original posting. My humble and abject apologies.
