Thanks for that, Jens......Are you suggesting that if version 6 of an
extension/Add-on is available for FF, but version 4 is the latest
available for SM, we SM users will get sent to the FF ver 6 page??

AFAIK that's the case, yes. AMO bug, if you want.

Greetings,

Jens

O.K., my "thick-headedness" in operation!

Jens, are you suggesting it is an A.M.O. bug, already, or are you
suggesting I should log an A.M.O. bug on Bugzilla??

I beat you to it. Bug #720886 at
<https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=720886>.

O.K., I was thinking it was just a Browser sniffing thing, and I am
tonight using my WOW64 Win7 version of SeaMonkey:-
Build identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:10.0.2)
Gecko/20120216 SeaMonkey/2.7.2

and figured that, as there was no mention of (any version of) Firefox,
maybe I'd end up with the right page for BetterPrivacy, but, alas, no,
still went to the Firefox page on AMO.

Any other ideas, anyone?

O.k., back on Linux SeaMonkey 2.7.2 (with update to 2.8 already downloaded), so found the BetterPrivacy link upthread:-
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/seamonkey/addon/betterprivacy/
clicked it and I still went to the Firefox version.

Clicked Help->About Plug-ins and it showed I had Version:
    Shockwave Flash 10.0 r22 installed.

In the header for the About Plug-ins page, it has a link for mozilla.org/plugincheck. Clicking this takes me to a Firefox page and clicking Update there takes me to an Adobe page offering Ver 11 which I've now downloaded and will install over the week-end and see how we go.
