How I wrote, you can do something for it. (sorry for my english)
If you open sm offline, go to "to work  on" -> "settings" ->
-> "Mail & Newsgroups" -> "network & retention"

The first line you can modify

Ido it like this "recognice auto - if possible" (sm is possible for it)

You can do too the following:
go into the browser to "file" down to "work offline"
and change it This is only a workaround till to the
help beetling
