I'm using CentOS 5.8 Linux.

I was running Java 1.6 Update 31 on SeaMonkey 2.10 because Java 1.7 didn't play nice with SeaMonkey. Yesterday, SeaMonkey 2.10 told me that it was going to disable Java because version 1.6 U 31 caused stability or security problems.

Today, I updated to SeaMonkey 2.11 and Java 1.7 Update 5. When I restart SeaMonkey, Java does not appear in the list of plugins.

My /usr/local/seamonkey/plugins directory contains the following:

total 17284
-rw-rw-r-- 1 root 17410532 Aug 10 19:45 libflashplayer.so
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root 37 Aug 15 15:00 libnpjp2.so -> /usr/java/latest/lib/i386/libnpjp2.so
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root    62618 Nov 17  2010 nphelix.so
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root     5086 Nov 17  2010 nphelix.xpt
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root   179552 Mar 28 04:47 nppdf.so

Do I have the right Java file linked to the plugins directory?

Is there some way to get Java to work with SeaMonkey?

Thanks,

Craig
