Can someone explain why I seem to all of a sudden getting a bunch of
old posts to the seamonkey support list?

Did you change your view settings? If I want to, I can display posts
going back to 2006, but I normally hide them by showing only threads
with unread posts.

I changed nothing. And coincidentally, in this same block of posts, I
received my own post that I submitted a week ago when I joined the list.

just for clarification of the issue....I'm stuck on "received"...you
don't receive news, you receive mail.

Are you saying when you view the group, posts are duplicated? Or that
you still see posts you already read (cuz that's normal)

It appears he is subscribed to the support-seamonkey@lists.mozilla.org mailing list, so would in fact get the emails.
