We purchased a new Gateway Computer with WIN 7 and trying to
install SM 2.17, the
REGISTER page asks for her name.
We entered my wife's "charlotte" and completed the rest of
the page.
The response was that this user name is already in use.
I believe that results from using charlotte on the SONY Vaio
and eMachine for several years.
She has used [email protected] for several years. is the
system trying
to tell us that she should choose a different name ?
If Yes, will a different name interfere with her ability to use
SeaMonkey on her new machine?
NOTE: [email protected] is her visible
email address.
email received at that address is forwarded to her Verizon email
address
[email protected] which is not used publicly.
If I'm doing something incorrectly, please correct me.
If she is prevented from using "charlotte" as her name should we
choose a different?
