I had a Google search toolbar in SeaMonkey on my computer with Windows

Thanks,

I also had a Google Bar that I really liked and used heavily, back in SM1.0.9, ca 2007. I always kept the .xpi in a safe place so I had it long after it was gone from the Extension Room, or whatever they call it now.

Now, however, with SM2.17.1, none of the Google bars install. I'm thinking no one has updated the Google bar to work with the newer versions. Some of these tools are for a specific range of versions and won't install on other versions, and you can't make them do it.

I've had to be satisfied with setting Google as my default search engine in Edit>Prefs, and type my search parameters in the address bar. It's not as pretty imo, but it works pretty well.
