I use a touch pad on a laptop with SM2.21: when I open a 'compose'
window from SM most excellent email client/reader it pops up on top,
and I feel I can type into it ONLY to have the emailclient/reader
jump back on top!

Would it be possible to have any newly opened window, not only on-top
but also in-focus???

Rick, it strikes me that this is an old problem and there was a
workaround found, but
what that workaround was eludes me at the moment.

Maybe someone who does recall will drop by.

Was it http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?f=40&t=2526893
?
or
Bug 768802 - [adbe 3223393] Firefox window loses focus every time
Flash plugin processes are (re-)launched?
?
Rick, that mozillazine article seems about right, although I wasn't aware that it was also affecting the browser screen!

Have you tried the Bug 768802 fix??
