After recent update to SeaMonkey 2.23, I also cannot see a place to mark thread or message as watched. My version of SeaMonkey may be modified by openSUSE? SeaMonkey 2.23 Build ID:2013121000 Way I am doing it now is to create a Customized Tag. Then select the message/messages to watch, right click and select the new tag under tags. Not the best way.
