Many times, the reloading and redirecting are performed by JavaScript scripts. I have the PrefBar extension installed with the JavaScript checkbox enabled. When I see unwanted reloading or redirection, I clear the checkbox, count to 5, and then check the checkbox to re-enable JavaScript. -- David E.
