Is it possible, do you think, that the settings "Automatically check for updates " and "Automatically download and install the update" are stored in your profile, rather than coming bundled with Seamonkey, and are therefore honoured regardless of which version of Seamonkey you download ?
If so, I would strongly recommend changing them now, and /then/ downloading the version of Seamonkey that you want to use and keep. For myself, I have frozen at 2.17.1, because the font-size handling idiocy that was added subsequently. Philip Taylor -------- o...@gmx.de wrote:
