to know the version number as they are on auto-update and will always
have the newest version. Questions like "Which add-ons do I have?",
"Which add-ons are active?" and "What do these add-ons do?" are probably
more frequent questions, than which version number is an add-on, or is
it a beta version."
So they (again) decided what we need to know and we do not have any
alternative options. Would themes be able to change that back to the
older format?
Clicking on "More" next to each Add On gives the version and other
pertinent information.
