Hey Folks,

I use Seamonkey in a ThinApp for an in-house application. For this
reason, I've disabled the automatic updates.

However, because of delays in 2.4x, we're getting repeated warnings
that Seamonkey 2.39 is old and that we should update (Ominous, red
banner warning ;-).

How would one go about disabling this warning... besides activating
automatic updates?

Since 2.39 is the latest release, the warning can't be coming from SeaMonkey (Help | Check for Updates says "There are no updates available. SeaMonkey will check periodically for updates." -- or in your case, "There are no updates available. Please check again later or enable SeaMonkey's automatic update checking.")

You'll have to look elsewhere for the source of the message.
