Wireless mouse has a dying battery?

The mouse itself is going defunct?

Sometimes a cleaning will suffice. It worked for me less than a week ago for erratic RMB making it hard to get context menus to stay open. Disassemble. Use compressed air. Reassemble.

Vacuum or used compressed air on USB ports to remove dust. If it's heavy, likely the inside of both PC and power supply are due for dust removal as well.

Also, weak USB or PS/2 connection - power down, then remove & reinsert, wiggle, use contact cleaner, etc.
