I understand that, but why would the Mozilla plugin site be offering an
out-of-date plugin, and then saying it's blocked?
What Mozilla plugin site are you referring to?
Per exemple https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/plugincheck/
Where we can see:
Adobe Flash Player
Shockwave Flash 22.0 r0
v. 22.0.0.209 vulnerable
with an "UPDATE NOW" button to install this vulnerable version
That link is being removed from future Firefox versions, and hopefully
SeaMonkey.
The best way to check is probably going to Adobe
<https://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/> remove the check marks for the
Optional offers and click the Install Now button.
I've also had an update notification using Windows 10 when I checked
Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update when 23.0.0.162 was available.
