There is currently no Beta planned. We might do a 2.53 later to test new
features but for now stick with the 2.49.x line. The latest comm-central
builds are unusable and we are still playing catch up (probably for the whole
year).
ewong isn't sure if can make upgrades working for 2.49.2. It sounds like a
trivial issue but isn't because of the servers and internal Mozilla systems
involved. So you might need to download the complete installer again. You can
install the mar update manually but I did this once and didn't find it worth it.

The release is done and just stuck a little in post processing. So I think
we don't need to worry much. Not sure if updates can be enabled this time
but we will see.
Have fun

FRG, a couple of questions ....
1. Some time ago, I used to use the Beta versions of SeaMonkey to do my
little bit (testing) to help you Devs out. Are Beta versions still released??
... and if so, where do I get them from??
2. Will these be "updates", i.e. a little bit of programming (a couple of
MB, maybe.) to be incorporated into the already installed program, or will it
be a complete download (50MB or so!)??
