You can click the "Mail & Newsgroups" icon in the Component Bar, use
Window > Mail & Newsgroups from the Menu Bar, the key combination Ctrl+2
to open the Mail & Newsgroups window, or set Edit > Preferences >
Appearance to open both the browser and mail windows upon starting
SeaMonkey.
