Hello people,
I've recently downloaded and installed the latest SeaMonkey Windows
setup package and fortunately most of it works fine, except for one
thing: I just can't send e-mails with the server setup recommended by
the local corporate TI department. Maybe it could be something related
to the corporate server which involves technical details beyond a
simple port configuration. Neither used port currently works with me -
neither default SeaMonkey port (port number 587) nor local corporate
TI department's port (port 25). Please help ASAP.

What are the technical details beyond a simple port configuration for
the corporate server?
The only details I know required for a SMTP configuration are:
Server Name
Port
User Name
Authentication Method
Connection Security
SM will also prompt you for a password the first time you use it, and
any time authentication fails. If it succeeds and you told SM to
remember the password, that's the end of the setup process.
It would be especially helpful if the OP would tell us exactly how he
can tell it "doesn't work" -- exactly what happens at exactly what stage
of the process. Without those critical details, we're just guessing.
