From doing a quick search it appears that Firefox Nightly 69.0a1
doesn't support it on desktop and still needs an extension. Which
probably won't work in SeaMonkey.
It is working in Firefox on Android according to a bug report.

I didn't find a bug report for desktop Firefox.
The Edge and Safari desktop browsers have native support for HLS.
