I tried creating the CalDAV calendar in my SeaMonkey 2.49.5 and it appears it cannot be activated. Possibly due to <https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1592407>

Looks like the SeaMonkey developer might need to add the bug fix to a version of SeaMonkey and provide an update.
