you clear the cookies for the website , but when you load any article
the session is not activated. When I tried to write a comment, it says

Might it not just be SM's cookie or User Tracking settings? I don't see
any links for commenting, so I guess only supporters of the paper have
that option (hazte social...). Then top banner maintains the login ID
when I read an article.
