Hello all,
many years ago I used an extension to reorder my email accounts, now I had to
add some new accounts and I can't remember how I did it.
I mean, when you add email accounts, I'd like to reorder them in the left
pane of Mail window.
SM 2.53.4 macOS.
Thank you!

Modify order in perfs.js key "mail.accountmanager.accounts". Needs a bit
of inversigation to find which email account corresponds to each account#

Great, I'm going to try.
Will this setting change after a SM upgrade?

No, once you set the order, it is set .... until you change it.

When I alter the order, I do it by entering "about:config" (without the inverted commas) in the browser address line. SM then give you a warning, which I accept, then, in the screen that opens, I'd enter "mail.accountmanager.accounts" in the search bar and the preference that shows is the order in which your various accounts are shown in the 'accounts' pane of the Mail & News accounts column.

Account 1 is usually your mail account, Account 2 is usually the 'Local Folders' account and then will come your other mail and news accounts.

Changing the order of the accounts listed in that preference changes the order in which the accounts are listed on the screen.
