ebase was developed, and the manuals written, with FileMaker version
4. The menus changed with FileMaker version 5. The "mode" menu items
are now under the View menu. You'll need to be logged into ebase with
the "master" level password, then select the menu item View>Layout to
get to Layout mode. Then select the letter you want to edit from the
layout list in the pulldown menu above the rolodex pages in the gray
tool area on the left.
