A red flag is waving. If no record number was assigned to records
during the import process it is likely that you used FileMaker's
import menu item rather than the ebase import process. If that's
true, you have records in the names file, but not the required
related records in the Custom, Profile, and Summary files. If indeed
you do not have record numbers, the cleanest way to recover is to
toss the current ebase files, go back to the copy or backup you made
before importing, and do the import again, using the ebase import
procedure.
