I have rented a mailing list of 2000 names, and it was delivered as
pressure sensitive labels, 30 to a sheet. However, I would like to do
a merge/purge against my in-house database, and I would like to
produce a mailing via eletter. To do these processes, I need to get
the list into electronic format.
I can scan the labels, and I have skills to write some code in Perl
that will parse the labels into name, institution, address,
city/state/zip lines. However, this must be a task that many people
have done before.
Does anyone know if there are products that will do this for me, or
if there are software components that will help with part of the
process.
