Carl,
I don't use v1.0, but I can see at least two problems with that calculation.
1) Duration is not a date field (at least not in v1.2) so can't be added to a date
without transformation.
2) Why would you want to add the duration to the previous EXPIRATION DATE??? That
doesn't even make sense. Shouldn't the new membership begin on the day the old one
ended?
The calc from v1.2 points to another calc field called DefaultStartDate. (Not sure
why the extra field.) The calc for that is:
If(Payment For = "Dues",
If(IsEmpty(Summary::MEM: LAST MEMBER EXPIRE DATE),
Post Date, Summary::MEM: LAST MEMBER EXPIRE DATE),TextToDate(""))
Looks like someone fixed your bug between 1.0 and 1.2. (Although not sure how one
that large could slip into the original release...) BTW, why haven't you updated?
