The program areas for ONE/Northwest include networking projects, hosting email lists, and providing training, information and expertise to conservation groups based in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Alaska, and British Columbia. The annual budget is $500,000 and there is tremendous future growth potential. Requirements include a strong interest and demonstrated commitment to environmental issues, excellent verbal and written communication skills, 3-5 years of management experience, strong leadership skills, and fundraising experience. The ideal candidate will have an appreciation of the value of electronic networking and how it can be applied to grassroots activism, experience working with non-profit boards, the experience to build an effective organization, and the ability to work with all types of people.
