Hi Dan-

We do just that.  Our main office hosts Ebase on a static-IP DSL connection using NT 
Server (and FileMaker Server).  Two of our field  offices have DSL, and one has a 
dial-up (56K) account.  While the DSL is obviously faster and better, the dial-up 
folks still use the database just fine (though slowly).
