I sent out a request for help last week regarding my inability to enter
information in a field. I got a great suggestion back - which I really
appreciate - and tried fiddling with the SetUp Wizard to fix the
problem. Unfortunately, it didn't work, and now the information in
Member Type doesn't automatically appear on the page when I enter a
payment amount... yikes! I'm still experiencing my other problem - not
being able to enter membership level - the field where I enter the
information does not display on the home page, although the field does
(and I cannot enter information in the field on the home page... a
vicious cycle). I decided to try to change Membership Type to reflect
the different categories I've created, and added a new value list, but
the Mbr Type Display field is calculated, although I can't read the
formula so don't know from what - does it even matter? The drop down
list still reflects the old values, but won't accept them - if I type in
one from the value list I added, it does accept it... but then I can't
get membership type to appear on the home page... when I try to add the
field it doesn't exist.
If this all sounds confusing and doesn't make sense, that's probably
because my brain is scrambled as I hit all these dead ends and circles.
I'd greatly appreciate any help, suggestions, ideas, etc., etc.
