Did you ever get any help on this?
If not, I'm a little confused by your question. When you say "our database already
includes" are you talking about a non-ebase database that you are importing into
ebase?
My answer depends on yours, but I can tell you that both of the fields you named below
are calculated fields in ebase depending on which payments you have entered. So you
can't change them directly. You should be able to do finds based on them (although
Membership Status is not indexed so finds go slowly).
