Regarding your WinFax and MS Outlook.

Since you are asking how to setup ebase to use MS Outlook I am assuming you
are on a MAC. (on a PC if Outlook is your default email program ebase "just
does it" with little of no setup needed) Unfortunately things are not so
strait forward on the Mac side. FileMaker for the Mac, and as a result
ebase, only directly supports an older proprietary Mac email standard.
Eudora has, for a while, been the only "modern" Mac emailer that FileMaker
"talks to".

Regarding WinFax, while there are possible "work around" ebase does not
directly support WinFax. There is at least one FileMaker plug-in that claims
to add the ability for FileMaker to "talk" directly to WinFax. As a
workaround you can export your fax list to a file in a format that WinFax
can read then import that field into Win fax and use it to send a fax.
