I'm still stymied by trying to move my ebase database (which has long
been running under FMPro 4.03 on the Mac) to Windows NT.

FMPro 4.03 seems to be installed ok on NT, because it can open (and
share to the Macs) the FMP example databases.

When I do File, Open, and navigate to ebase.102, FMPro reports
"ebase.102 could not be found, and is required to complete the
operation," and the only option is OK.

I'm a novice at Windows, and even moreso for NT, so maybe there's
something I'm missing there. I have removed all permission groups
except "Everyone" and set that to "Full Control" on all the ebase
files and the containing directory. I tried opening ebase on the Mac
and setting all ebase files to single user, then opening on Windows
NT (on the theory that this would allow the FMP filename spec to be
changed). No dice.

I don't think that the files were damaged in the process of moving
them to the NT file system, because I can open them on the Mac across
the network from where they reside on the NT filesystem (which is
shared using NT's Services for Macintosh).

Please help!
