"Uppercase" is a text format setting. If you have FileMaker, you can
make the layout change necessary to reverse that.
- Enter ebase with the master password.
- go to layout mode
- go to the layout you want to change, envelope, labels (there are 4
label layouts)
- select the text block with the address with the pointer tool, so
the black corner handles appear
- select the menu item Format>Style and uncheck the item UPPERCASE.

The field "Thanks Date" is on the payment entry screen and it gets
filled in as part of the script that prints thank you letters. You
can search for that date, or a range of dates, by clicking the Find
button on the payment entry screen.

If you want to use the query screen to do this, in order to search
for other criteria at the same time, you can put that field on the
query layout if you like.
