It largely depends on your platform. On OpenBSD, for instance, the only JVMs from which I can choose are Kaffe or a Linux JVM running under Linux emulation. The latter does *not* work, which means I must use Kaffe. On Linux, I'm using Sun's JVM and it seems to be tolerable. -- Greg Wooledge | "Truth belongs to everybody."
