1.4.2_04-b05, but I don't think that was the problem... I think you guys put me on the right track. It wasn't freenet. I removed my tcp/ip stack, rebooted, reinstalled the stack, and reinstalled freenet, and it seems to be working just fine now. There was something wrong with the windows networking....
