Hi. We have recently been running a number of simulations of Freenet, to try to: a) Show that it can work. b) Show that NGR can work. c) Find out what HTLs will be required. d) Find out if different options (e.g. probabilistic caching, estimator smoothing) are beneficial. e) Give Freenet a more rigorous theoretical basis, etc.
This requires significant CPU time. If you have a spare computer equivalent to at least a 1GHz P4, and you can give me a shell, that would be really useful...
