Freenet 0.7 build 853 is now available. This is a fairly experimental build; it includes major changes to the bandwidth limiting code, including the addition of "soft" limits based on the expected bytes to be used by a request. It includes an input bandwidth limit setting (which is purely soft i.e. not very accurate). It should prevent nodes from sending a flood of requests on startup. Please upgrade, and please give your feedback on any bugs or performance problems you encounter. Thank you for participating in the freenet alpha test.
