What OS do you use? Does your OS adjust the time of the hardware, instead to adjust the displacement to the GMT time?
I assume freenet uses the System.currentTimeMillis() for calculations, and this value is the milliseconds since 1.1.1970 GMT. This is a fix value without daylightzones and should not change.
