I think the lack of a reliable messaging system is really going to impact interest in Freenet. Unfortunately, FMS is not easily usable by ordinary end users, and it is not packaged with the core software.
I don't know what to do about this problem, other than figure out some way to get Frost working again. This is really too bad, because the core functionality of Freenet seems to be improving. All the popular sites load very quickly, it is almost getting to be like the regular internet. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Matthew Toseland" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>; <support@freenetproject.org> Sent: Tuesday, April 29, 2008 4:24 PM Subject: [freenet-support] Countdown to 0.7.0 _______________________________________________ Support mailing list Support@freenetproject.org http://news.gmane.org/gmane.network.freenet.support Unsubscribe at http://emu.freenetproject.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/support Or mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]
