Reinstallation brought no results.
Comodo doesn't interfere.
I see no reply to your question, have you got it working by now?
To me, the software firewall was a problem. In spite of it being
configured and even set to 'allow all', it *still blocked the Freenet
ports*!
When I tried Comodo, it was a particularly annoying piece of software,
so I suggest you look at that.
There is a site that provides a small program to test if ports are
really open;
portforward.com.
The wrapper complaining about its version is a long standing issue, it
seems to be resolvable by manually updating it but I haven't succeeded
at that. But it is said to be harmless anyway.
