FileMaker can search on any field in a layout, and you can put fields
from related files on a layout. As Cathy suggests, the Query screens
in the names file have been set up to do that, with fields from
payments and other related files to enable wider searches that with
the Find buttons. With your special code in the "data entry" file
(which I suspect is the names_.102 file) you'll probably need to add
it to a layout where you can also see the post date to search for a
date range and the code at the same time.
