There was a more elegant solution using Excel than the one I can offer.
I had the same problem: it would be better to open your names file in
Microsoft Word before you import into ebase (I used v5.1 for Mac),
select all, choose BBb button, select Title Case, and if your file
isn't overly long (after a long wait without any signal anything is
going on), you'll get lower case names, streets, etc. with initial
capital letters.
If you have already imported the all caps version of names into
ebase, you can import the same, edited file again. When they are all
identified as dupes, choose Set All to Update, select the items you
want updated and import again.
You will have to edit Mcqueen to McQueen, etc
Have a backup handy before trying anything..
