Yes, version 1.03 is basically a bug fix update, so the field inventory is identical. Your merge files will work with 1.03 exactly as they would with 1.02. >2) Is it worth the effort for me at this time to move from v1.02 to v1.03 >or should I just activate 1.02 on filemaker pro 5 and stay with that? Again, 1.03 is a bug fix update. If you just convert the 1.02 files to FMP 5, you'll still have the bugs. Two possible paths - transfer your data to version 1.03 files as you are currently doing, or fix the bugs. The bug fixes will require knowledge of FileMaker Pro procedures. If you feel like tacking that, the fixes are spelled out in the readme file for version 1.03. > >3) Are there any other things I should know or watch as I go through this >process? I just know you will back up your files before you start, but I couldn't stop myself from mentioning it. -- Dave Shaw Northwest Classics, Inc tel: 206-954-7526 fax: 206-625-1338 ------------------ Reminder to each recipient: To change your list account preferences, go to http://email.sparklist.com/scripts/lyris.pl?enter=support and enter the email address you used to subscribe to the ebase support list:: [email protected] To unsubscribe send a blank email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] --------------------------------------------------------------------- ebase - Relationship Management for Nonprofits, http://www.ebase.org ---------------------------------------------------------------------
