I am still having no luck hosting ebase. We are on a Windows 98 peer to peer network and I am trying to have ebase on the 'server' while accessing it through two or more computers with TCP/IP protocol.. I have the ebase files on the server and unique FM apps on all computers with preferences set for TCP/IP. I have set all files to multi-user (except ebase.102 because it will not allow access to sharing) by the set button in Admin and also manually (just to see if that would fix it). At this point I try to access ebase runing on the server by starting FM from other computers and clicking the Hosts button. I get nothing. I have even tried to specify the file name with no luck. (We cannot use a static IP). Are there settings I am missing or am I dealing with network issues.... Any help would be appreciated!
