You cannot save or edit Filemaker layouts in Word. They are in a special format (and
are graphics, really, not text) and won't be recognized by Word. If you want to edit
how they look, you'll have to either modify the layout in layout mode (or copy it or
make a new one) or export the data (and data only, you won't have any formatting) to
Word and do a Mail Merge from scratch. It most cases it will be far easier to do the
former, if you know anything about layouts in FMP. (And if you don't, it's pretty
easy to learn.)

I am using a PC, Filemaker 5. I have a found set that I need to save in Word and
email to someone. I have the found set in Output to create a Giving and current
status report. I have right clicked to copy the page and then pasted it in Word. It
is unmodifiable and therefore unusable to us.
Also the report is three pages long and I don't know how to save all three pages at
the same time.
