See the message "RE: Counties field - a bunch of answers" with details about
how to do a replace.
The new ZIP_ file comes with the default Ebase passwords. If you've changed
yours (which you should), zip_ won't open directly. When zip_ tries to
open, you should get a password prompt. Use MASTER for full access. Then
switch to the zip_ file, then click to FILE/ACCESS PRIVILEDGES/PASSWORDS to
change the passwords so they are synchronized with your new passwords.

I'm using FM Pro 5.0 with ebase 1.00 on Macintosh.
I am new at ebase, though not to databases. I can't figure out how
to make a "multiple replace" to the value of a field in all selected
records. Can someone clue me in there? Thank.
Also, regarding the zip file mentioned in the previous days
communications....I downloaded this file, unzipped it, and tried
replacing zip_.100 with the new file, but I got a message on
re-entering ebase to the effect that I had the wrong password to open
zip_.100. Does that mean I can't use this updated file with version
1.00? I restored the original and was back up and running.
