There isn't any member status history recorded in ebase - for example, that a person was a member in the past but isn't now. The member status field reflects only current status. There is an indirect method to find history that I have seen used. Presuming that you have a 1-year membership, anyone who made a dues payment between October 1999 and September 2000 would have been a member in September 2000. So you'd search for dues payments within that period and use the transfer to names function to get the list of people. Then repeat for other months. You can expand the idea for othermonths or groups of months. This isn't exact, since some people pay early and others pay late, but it should give a pretty good idea. If you have FileMaker and have the skills and inclination to modify the ebase files, Jack Noll posted a really clever way to find this info a month or so ago. You can search the list archives for that. I'll post it when I get back to my office on Monday. -- -- Dave Shaw H4 Consulting tel: 206-954-7526 fax: 206-625-1338 ------------------ Reminder to each recipient: To change your list account preferences, go to http://email.sparklist.com/scripts/lyris.pl?enter=support and enter the email address you used to subscribe to the ebase support list:: [email protected] To unsubscribe send a blank email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] --------------------------------------------------------------------- ebase - Relationship Management for Nonprofits, http://www.ebase.org ---------------------------------------------------------------------
