Hi, I'm new to the listserve. Hope someone has some insight on my problem with recovery. I know I'm not supposed to use the recovery process outlined in the Ebase manual, so I haven't. I use Filemaker 4.0, Ebase, V 1.02. I have a backup of our database on a zip disk. The copy I have on the backup is a good, current copy. When I try to restore from the backup, Ebase is still saying that "Names is damaged and cannot be opened. Use the recover command to recover this file." Can anyone help me with this? Thanks.
