I have not gotten a reply to my first request so I will repeat it here. Our theatre company uses ebase to send reminders for pledge payments. We have Filemaker Pro v.5. I was using the ebase output screen to gather the list of 600 or so names that we have designated as annual pledgers. This worked well using the letter #1 through #4 formats, with customized fields in the letter to include names, address, amount of pledges, duration, etc. and quarterly payments. However, when I started to add a second year of pledges, when I go to the letter format, the fields keep referring to the first pledge year amounts. How do I set up a relationship between fields when using the letter formats for a second pledge for the same person? I do not want to delete the history. We have hundreds of names that I'd like to print reminders in batches, so I don't want to print them one at a time. Another way to explain my problem: When I add a new pledge, ebase puts the new pledge after the first year pledge, regardless that the new pledge is a newer date. I am guessing that if I could get ebase to add the new pledge to the top of the pledge list, it would refer to it correctly. How can I do this?
